I am a business coach, not a life coach.
But you can’t really separate “business” and “life” because they affect each other.
Agree?
I’ve had some really tough times since I started the business in 2001.
The first lockdown 12 months ago in March 2020 was certainly one of those times..
In March 2020 my sales fell off a cliff.
But I was able to pivot and get the business back on track very quickly.
What I’ve noticed is how linked my own mental and physical health is to my performance at work.
So I made a conscious effort to maintain some key positive habits:
* running
* meditating
* journaling
* focusing on gratitude
* connecting with friends/family
As a result, I’m in better shape now at age 47 than when I was in my twenties or in my teens.
At the same time, our business has achieved our best ever month, quarter and is on track to double our best ever year.
I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
It’s all interconnected.
Does looking after your health, wellbeing and personal relationships guarantee that your business is going to explode? Of course not
But I believe that NOT doing those things will have a negative impact on business.
What do you think? I’d like to hear your opinion
